Millie Mackintosh insists her rekindled romance with Hugo Taylor is "not a rebound".
The brunette beauty split from rapper husband Professor Green – whose real name is Stephen Manderson – in February and is now said to have got back together with her former ‘Made in Chelsea’ co-star, and has reportedly been reassuring pals the relationship is more serious than they thought.
A source said: "Millie and Stephen had been growing apart for a long time – she’s telling everyone how nice it is to fancy someone again.
"Some of her friends are a bit worried – she’s only just split from Stephen. But from what Millie is saying it seems more than just a rebound.
"She’s being quite coy about it but she’s really excited and loving being around Hugo again.
"Everyone knows he was her first love and she seems to be falling for him again."
And Hugo’s close friend Spencer Matthews – who recently had dinner with the pair – is only shocked their romance is moving so quickly.
He told heat magazine: "I’m surprised [at the speed] – it’s happened quite quickly hasn’t it?
"But they seem comfortable and they’re adults and they know what they’re doing."
Hugo’s ex-girlfriend Natalie Joel – who he split from in December – can also understand why they got back together almost five years after they split.
She said: "I’m not really surprised. Everyone deserves a second chance. It happens. It’s very easy to go back to exes – I’ve done it. It’s comfort."
