Olivia Colman: I’m lucky to be working

Olivia Colman feels "very lucky" to be working.
The ‘Broadchurch’ star is very "grateful" to get work as she knows from experience what it is like not to have anything lined up.
Speaking in Los Angeles to promote the US premiere of ‘The Night Manager’, she said: "I have been very lucky. I have had work in England. Wherever you get work, it’s a great thing. Most actors aren’t working at any one time. I remember what it’s like not to work so I’m grateful for anything I get."
The 42-year-old actress also teased she would be up for a sequel to the popular BBC drama.
She added: "If they can make sure each season is good, great. I think the people who made this would only keep going if they could ensure that it was as good or better than the first time round."
Meanwhile, Olivia previously admitted she didn’t get offered any work for six months after finishing the second series of ‘Broadchurch’.
She explained: "I think there’s a perception that I’ll be too busy. So actually, after those first two BAFTAs, I didn’t really get offered anything, which makes you think, ‘Oh, no! And, after I finished the second series of ‘Broadchurch’, nothing came up for six months, which is a really long time and I got a bit panicky."
