Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odom to return to Xtra Factor?

Simon Cowell hasn’t guaranteed Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odom a hosting gig on the next series of ‘The Xtra Factor’.
The presenting duo – who took over from Sarah-Jayne Crawford on the programme last year – are being kept in the dark about their future on the spin-off show but are hoping they’ve done enough to impress the 56-year-old boss.
Melvin told the Daily Star newspaper: "We haven’t heard [whether we’ll return] yet. I don’t know what will happen.
"When we got the job last year it was only a few weeks before. At the moment, I’m just sitting and hoping.
"If I do get to do it again this year it will be an absolute bonus because it was a great year. I hope Simon enjoyed having us there. He seemed to enjoy the show whenever it was on."
However, the pair won’t be surprised if they do get dropped, as Simon is on a mission to shake up the main show ‘The X Factor’ following the shock exit of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who sat on the panel from 2008 until 2010 and then again from 2014 until 2015, and one-series judge Nick Grimshaw.
It’s believed the music mogul is trying to persuade former judges Louis Walsh – who was dropped last year following 11 years on the show – and Sharon Osbourne, who worked on the show from 2004 until 2007 before making a return in 2013, to reclaim their seats on the nitty-gritty panel this year.
