Beyonce’s connection to mother

Beyoncé’s mother can always "sense" when she’s having a tough time.
The ‘Formation’ singer has always felt secure in the love Tina Knowles has from her and never fails to be amazed that her mother always has the right words, even when she doesn’t know her daughter needs them.
She said: "My mother loved me unconditionally so I felt safe enough to dream.
"I learned the importance of honouring my word and commitments from her.
"One of the best things about my mother is her ability to sense when I’m going through a tough time.
"She texts me the most powerful prayers and they always come through right when I need them. I’m tapped into her emotional wifi."
The 34-year-old star credits her father and former manager, Mathew Knowles, with her leadership skills.
She told Britain’s ELLE magazine: "My father stressed discipline and was tough with me. He pushed me to be a leader and an independent thinker."
And over the years, Beyoncé – who has four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with husband Jay Z – has learned a lot of other lessons from her parents.
She explained: "So many… the gift of being generous and taking care of others. It has never left me.
"I’ve also learned that your time is the most valuable asset you have and to use it wisely.
"My parents taught me how to work hard and smart. Both were entrepreneurs, I watched them struggle working 18-hour days.
"They taught me nothing worth having comes easily."
When it comes to her own daughter, the ‘Crazy in Love’ hitmaker wants nothing more than for her to be "happy and healthy".
She said: "Like any mother, I want my child to be happy, healthy, and have the opportunity to realise her dreams."
