Jake Gyllenhaal praises Reese Witherspoon

Jake Gyllenhaal says Reese Witherspoon is "one of the smartest, strongest people I’ve ever met".
The ‘Nightcrawler’ star has nothing but praise for his former girlfriend, who he dated for two years after he met her on the set of 2007’s ‘Rendition’.
Speaking to Jess Cagle for PEOPLE magazine, he said: "She is, as I would say about most of the women who I’m close friends with or had relationships in my life, one of the smartest, strongest people I’ve ever met."
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old actor previously revealed he struggles finding the "right person" to date.
He explained: "I try to make my relationships with people as serious and real as I possibly can because those are the moments that truly inform your life and your being …
"It’s hard to find the right person and also to be ready to have a serious relationship when you do meet someone you know you would like to spend a lot of time with and get to know more deeply.
"Nothing gets me more excited than thinking about being a husband and a father one day. There is no purpose I can see more important than that. I’m so close with my two nieces. I’d do anything for them. I’d give my life for them."
