Cameron Diaz praises ‘wonderful’ husband Benji Madden

Cameron Diaz thinks she’s so "lucky" to be married to the "most wonderful human being on the face of the planet."
The 43-year-old actress tied the knot with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden last year after just seven months of dating and has admitted she still can’t believe she’s found someone who makes her as happy as he does.
Speaking on ‘Live! With Kelly & Michael’, she said: "My hubby, he’s the most delicious, most wonderful human being on the face of the planet. I’m so lucky, he’s just a dear."
The couple – who were engaged just 17 days before getting hitched last January – met through his Benji’s brother Joel Madden and his wife Nicole Richie a few years ago but it wasn’t until they bumped into one another at a party in the summer of 2014 that the sparks began to fly between them.
She explained: "We met through his sister-in-law and brother. They are friends of mine. I knew him [Benji] for a couple of years. And he ended up coming over for a little party, and I was like ‘Huh, uhm, that one!’ "
Meanwhile, the loved-up duo seem pretty settled in their home in Beverly Hills, but Cameron has hinted that she may swap the sunny city for a chiller climate in years to come.
She said: "I love the cold. Because I’m from California all we get is sunshine, all day long, every single day. It’s so annoying; seriously it really is, annoying. It’s like literally, I feel like I live on the sun. I’m like, ‘Is this the sun? Is this where I live?’ It’s insane. So I love the cold."
