TOWIE’s Kate Wright and Dan Edgar sign up for Celebrity Big Brother

‘The Only Way is Essex’s Kate Wright and Dan Edgar have signed up to star on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ this summer.
The loved-up duo, who have been dating on and off for five years, are to become the first couple to join the infamous abode when the reality TV show returns in a few months’ time.
A source explained: "Kate and Dan have been really popular on ‘TOWIE’ and people will only love them more when they get this exposure. They have so much more to give and both Dan and Kate are really excited about the opportunity."
And Kate – who joined the ITVBe show last year – is hoping it will show viewers the "real" her after she was slammed with backlash recently for locking horns with newcomers Megan McKenna, Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows.
Speaking to OK! Online, the insider explained: "This stint on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ will allow her to show everyone who the real Kate is and people will love her."
Meanwhile, despite their split last year – during which time Dan hooked up with his then-co-star Jess Wright – the pair seem to be getting quite serious as they’re hoping to find their own little love nest to move in to later this year.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Kate said recently: "I am still with Dan, yes. We’re hoping to move out soon.
"We have spoken about marriage but that won’t happen for a while. Marriage is a long way off."
