ZZ Top and Art Garfunkel to play Glastonbury

ZZ Top, Art Garfunkel and Cyndi Lauper have all been announced to playing the 2016 Glastonbury Festival.
The trio of music legends have all been confirmed to be performing at the world famous music event which takes place at Somerset’s Worthy Farm in South West England from June 22 to June 26. They join headliners Adele, Coldplay and Muse.
Other announced acts include Foals, Disclosure, Last Shadow Puppets, Years & Years, Earth, Wind and Fire, Beck, Grimes and The 1975 among many others.
The official Glastonbury Festival Twitter account unveiled the line-up on Tuesday (29.03.16) by tweeting a poster with the accompanying tweet: "We’re pleased to reveal our first Glastonbury Festival 2016 line-up poster (by Stanley Donwood) (sic)"
Elsewhere, pop stars Ellie Goulding, Jess Glynne, and Laura Mvula will bring their live sets to the music festival.
And rising stars of grime Little Simz, Lady Leshurr, Stormzy and Skepta are expected to bring their energetic sets to Glastonbury.
This year also sees breakthrough metal band Bring Me The Horizon perform their debut show at the iconic festival.
Meanwhile, it’s also expected that Bee Gees legend Barry Gibb will perform with Coldplay when the band close the event on Sunday June 26.
A source previously revealed: "Chris Martin was delighted to be asked to headline again but told (festival boss) Michael (Eavis) he wanted to bring some friends along, too. Barry had already been asked to perform but didn’t have time to perfect a full set with his touring band. As soon as Chris got wind he asked Barry if he wanted to come on stage with Coldplay. He agreed straight away.
"The band are putting a Bee Gees medley together cramming in all of their classics. It’s going to be really special. There are likely to be a few other surprise guests on the night too, which are still to be decided."
