Paul Reubens: Joe Manganiello is a ‘dork’

Joe Manganiello is a "dork", according to his ‘Pee-wee’s Big Holiday’ co-star Paul Reubens.
The 63-year-old actor has revealed the ‘Magic Mike XXL’ star is the "real deal [but] a complete nerd".
He shared: "Just as a person, on a reality base, as myself, Joe is authentic, in so many ways. If you meet him, in two minutes, you can tell he’s the real deal. He’s a real person. He’s not pretentious.
"What took me a little longer to figure out, and why I feel like I’ve been sitting on this great secret for six months, is that he’s a dork. He’s a complete nerd. And I don’t think you would ever guess that, in a million years. I love that. I love his performance in my movie. I’ve watched it so many times, and I was involved in helping edit it and choose what things when in and what things went out, and to see all his takes and to see how he approached it with the reality base that he worked from, he gets to make fun of himself in a very real way."
And Paul sees a resemblance between himself and his character Pee-wee Herman.
He explained to Collider.com: "I, all the time, meet people and think, ‘Something is telling me that this is a person I should know.’ And Pee-Wee Herman is from a small little town where there isn’t that many people coming in and out. I don’t know. I don’t really know the answer for Pee-Wee. For Pee-Wee, it’s evident in the movie. It’s just an attraction. It’s an immediate, ‘What?! What is this?!’"
