Ben Affleck bags Batman prop

Ben Affleck "p***ed" off a member of the crew on ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ when he took a batarang prop from set.
The 43-year-old actor wanted a permanent memento from his time playing The Caped Crusader on the DC Comics superhero blockbuster movie – which also stars Henry Cavill as The Man of Steel -and decided to take the bat-shaped weapon.
A member of the props team did request that he handed the gadget over but he refused as he believes he deserved a "movie star pass" to keep a souvenir.
Asked whether he kept anything from the shoot, he told France’s Premiere magazine: "Oh, absolutely! I straight up stole a Batarang. I put it in my pocket, thinking I had earned it. The props guy came to come get it and I said no. I thought I had a kind of ‘movie star pass’ for that kind of thing. I stayed strong and flew off to LA (with it)! The guy was super p****d: ‘F**k that Ben Affleck, who stole my Batarang!’ I never returned it."
Although Affleck was pleased he got to keep a batarang, he wanted to take home a lot more props and had his eye on Batman’s mask, his grapple gun and even his Batmobile car.
Meanwhile, Affleck has confessed he was nervous donning The Dark Knight’s famous cape as the character has such a strong lineage on the big screen, starting from Michael Keaton and going up to Christian Bale, who was the last actor to play Batman.
Speaking at the New York pemiere of the movie on Sunday (20.03.16), he said: "I was like, ‘Oh my god! I’m actually doing this.’ Then I started to think about all the other Batmans before me, Christian Bale, Val Kilmer and the directors. It was all very intimidating."
