Paul Daniels flirted with nurse on death bed

The late Paul Daniels flirted with a nurse on his death bed.
The television magician sadly passed away on Thursday (17.03.16) after losing his battle with an incurable brain tumour and his widow Debbie McGee has revealed details of his final days and said he was still very much himself cracking jokes and even flirting with a nurse.
She shared: "The last week he was in bed but he was still cracking jokes. Even on his death bed he flirted and told a nurse she was looking good."
Paul’s death still hasn’t "sunk in" for the 57-year-old presenter, who feels like her heart has been "shattered", and she admitted she still feels his "presence" and feels like he’s going to walk back through the door any second, despite not believing in life after death.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I’m in such shock, it hasn’t sunk in,’ she says when we finally sit down. ‘It’s been so quick. I don’t think Paul and I will meet again in heaven. I don’t believe in the afterlife – I wish I did. But Paul’s presence is still everywhere. I’m waiting for him to walk through the door.
‘You don’t feel heartbroken, you feel like your heart’s been shattered. It’s like every part of your being has been torn apart."
Meanwhile, Debbie is currently preparing for Paul’s funeral, which will be attended by all his children from his first marriage – Paul Junior, 55, Martin, 52 and Gary, 47 – and his former spouse Jacqueline Skipworth.
Paul’s only wishes were to be cremated and he wanted to have the cheery song ‘Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah’ and ‘Mr Bojangles’ played because he thought people should sing when they are upset.
Of the song choices, she said: "He always told people to sing that when they were sad."
Paul also said he wanted to be cremated as he’d told Debbie the thought of being "buried alive" frightened him.
She added: "He was so claustrophobic, the idea of being buried alive terrified him."
Debbie has revealed there will be a private ceremony for close family and friends and a public memorial with a date yet to be confirmed.
