Steps singer Ian ‘H’ Watkins has become a dad.
The 39-year-old star became a father for with partner Craig Ryder in the early hours of Sunday (06.03.16) morning after they welcomed twin boys, who were born via surrogate.
Ian wrote on Twitter: "We are DADS! We are totally & utterly in Love ! #Twins (sic)"
H also shared a picture of the pair’s hospital wrist bands which contained their times of birth, 02.14 and 02.17, and their temporary names, Baby "A" Boy and Baby "B" Boy.
The news comes after the couple’s previous surrogate suffered a miscarriage in 2012.
H announced he and his long-term boyfriend Craig were expecting twins in December by sharing an animated video on YouTube.
In the clip, cartoon versions of the couple announced the news in speech bubbles before showing scan pictures of the unborn tots.
They explained: "Together we’ve been on lots of adventures! But our biggest adventure is about to begin!
"For a long time we have been wishing and our wish is about to come true.
"We are going to be dads! There’s more. It’s twins! (sic)"
The ‘5, 6, 7, 8’ singer shared the video on Twitter, writing alongside the link: "I’VE BEEN BURSTING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING …… :0) (sic)"
