John Boyega wants to take home Finn’s jacket from the set of ‘Star Wars Episode VIII’.
Shooting on the sci-fi sequel only just started on Monday (15.02.16) but the 23-year-old actor already has his eyes on his character’s distinctive brown leather jacket which he wants to keep for himself once shooting wraps
As well as the coat – which was given to Finn by fellow heroic character Poe Dameron in ‘The Force Awakens’ – Boyega has a wish list of props he wants to keep as mementos from the movie.
Speaking at the BAFTA Awards, he said: "I’m going to go back in for what’s mine. This time around I’m going to do it right. So this time I’ve got my list together and I’ll definitely get all the props. A light saber, Finn’s jacket, and various other bits. I don’t have Finn’s jacket so I’m going to have to get that."
Boyega has been busy learning his lines for the next instalment in the sci-fi franchise and is looking forward to being reunited with his co-star and friend Daisy Ridley – who plays Rey – and the rest of the cast which includes Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie.
