The ‘Ex on the Beach’ stars were forced to use plastic knives and forks halfway through the fourth series of the show.
MTV bosses had no choice but to step in and dish out throwaway cutlery while filming the Portugal-based programme because they believed the amount of violence erupting on the show would result in damage to the villa.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Helen Briggs said: "Halfway through they had to give us plastic knives and forks."
Naomi Hedman cut her off and chimed in: "Scared about what we’d do! We even had plastic glasses."
But the 22-year-old stunner was slightly relieved about the plastic utensils because she thought she was part of a "conspiracy" as every time a chair was hurtled through the air in anger she wasn’t too far away from the intended target.
She explained: "There was a conspiracy, I think they were trying to kill me off! The flying chair wasn’t meant for me but I nearly got hit by one."
The new series of ‘Ex on the Beach’ airs on Tuesdays at 10pm on MTV.
