Adam Driver ranks Star Wars movies

Adam Driver has ranked the previously released ‘Star Wars’ films from best to worst.

The ‘Girls’ actor – who stars as villain Kylo Ren in the latest instalment of the science fiction franchise – has placed 1980’s ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ at the top of the list, with 2005’s ‘Revenge of the Sith’ sitting in 6th place as his least favourite.

Coming close to the top was 1983’s ‘Return of the Jedi’ followed by 1997’s ‘Episode IV: A New Hope’ with some of the more recent films, 2002’s ‘Attack of the Clones’ and 1999’s ‘The Phantom Menace’ placing fourth and fifth respectively.

After giving his answers hesitantly, he admitted: "You’re really putting me on the spot. There’s certain things about ‘A New Hope’ that are pretty great. Even when the movies first started, I kept going through Luke’s theme when he comes out and the two sons are sitting … There’s so many things in those movies that I couldn’t stop humming over when we were working."

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old actor also recalled his best and worst days on set, admitting he was regularly "blown away" by the sheer greatness of the movie’s scale.

He told Collider.com: "There was no bad day. Walking in and seeing the original cast, walking in and seeing Chewie. There was lots of opening doors to sets and rooms and being just blown away."
