Julia Roberts is "in love with" Nicole Kidman.
The 48-year-old actress was delighted when her friend agreed to co-star with her in Secret In Their Eyes’ and admitted she is in awe of the Australian star.
She said: "I’ve known her for a long time. She’s such a great actress, and we all know that, and she’s so breathtakingly beautiful, and we all know that, and she’s a wonderful, dynamic human being.
"I truly adore her. I think we have very similar sensibilities and she’s just incredible.
"She’s a genuine person, I love her. I’m in love with her."
And Julia was overjoyed to work on the film alongside her cinematographer husband Daniel Moder – with who she has kids Hazel and Finn, 11, and Henry, eight – because he made her feel "safe".
She told OK! Magazine: "It’s great because he’s a constant source of inspiration to me and he has an impeccable work ethic.
"I had an enormous amount of blind faith in my preparation because my safest place in the world -Danny was right there.
"But he had his job to do and I had mine and there were only a couple of times where, at the end of the day, I was like, ‘I need my husband’. I think that was fair. I think I’d earned that hug."
