Prince Harry to become godfather to twins?

Britain’s Prince Harry could be set to become godfather to twins.

The 30-year-old royal’s close friend, bloodstock agent Jake Warren and his wife Zoe have just welcomed twins into the world and it’s believed he could be asked to be their godfather.

Zoe said: "I gave birth to two girls last week and they’re doing really well. We’re very happy."

Jake’s father is Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II’s racing manager John Warren, who runs Highclere Stud in the shadow if Highclere Castle in Berkshire.

The couple have named their daughters India and Zalie.

Zoe told the Daily Mail newspaper: "There’s no particular inspiration behind the names. We just really liked them."

Jake – who attended Ludgrove preparatory school and Eton College with Harry – is the godson of his friend’s late mother Princess Diana.

Meanwhile, Harry recently confessed he would love to have children of his own.

He said previously: "There come times when you think now is the time to settle down, or now is not, whatever way it is, but I don’t think you can force these things. It will happen when it’s going to happen.

"Of course, I would love to have kids right now, but there’s a process that one has to go through … Hopefully I’m doing all right by myself. It would be great to have someone else next to me to share the pressure. But, you know, time will come and whatever happens, happens."
