Selena Gomez wants to quit the limelight

Selena Gomez is ready to quit the limelight.

The 23-year-old singer recently released her new album ‘Revival’ and is seems it may be her last studio collection for a while as she is now reportedly eager to lead a normal life.

A source told the US’ OK! magazine: "Selena’s life is always under a magnifying glass. She doesn’t want to deal with it anymore. This isn’t a phase she’ll get over. Underneath her spirited façade, Selena is a mess.

"She cries all the time thinking about the hypocrisy and backstabbing that comes with the entertainment industry.

"This album will be her last – she only did it because she was under contract – and she’s told her agent that she’s done with acting too."

The brunette beauty is planning to go on tour next summer and is starring in ‘Neighbours 2,’ but doesn’t want to take on any more projects after that.

The insider said: "Just because she made a lot of money in Hollywood doesn’t mean she has to stay."

Meanwhile, the ‘Good For You’ hitmaker, who had a four-year on/off relationship with troubled pop star Justin Bieber, recently admitted she doesn’t trust anyone.

She said: "I don’t trust anyone…It’s something that I have to live with and I have to find the balance of who I want in my life and who isn’t good for me.

"I feel like I can say I have a sense of judgement, but I think it will always be there, you know. There will always be that question mark of, ‘Who is this person and do I trust them?’ That always happens."
