Janet Jackson announces UK tour dates


Janet Jackson has announced five UK tour dates.

The iconic singer will return to the UK in March 2016 for the next leg of her ‘Unbreakable World Tour’, marking her first performances in the country for several years.

Her whistle-stop tour will begin in Birmingham on March 30 before she visits London, Dublin and Glasgow before ending in Manchester on April 5.

The North American leg of her tour kicked off in August in support of her 11th studio album ‘Unbreakable’ which has received rave reviews since it was released last week.

The 49-year-old opened the tour in Vancouver, Canada with a 32-song set packed with her greatest hits but was emotional on stage when she sang ‘Scream’, which was originally recorded as a duet with her late brother Michael in 1995.

Other tracks performed during the show include recent singles ‘Unbreakable’ and ‘No Sleeep’ as well as classics from the star such as ‘All For You’, ‘That’s The Way Love Goes’, and ‘Together Again’.

Tickets to Janet’s UK ‘Unbreakable World Tour’ will go on sale this Friday (09.10.15).

April 2 – Dublin, The O2

April 4 – Glasgow, The SSE Hydro

April 5 – Manchester, Arena
