Britain’s Princess Anne was "wonderfully entertained" during her three-day trip to Jamaica last week.
The 65-year-old royal has admitted she enjoyed the "real flavour" of the island as she was greeted by the government and people of the country while carrying out her royal duties.
The Princess – the daughter of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth – made the comment at the closing ceremony of the Caribbean-Canada Emerging Leaders’ Dialogue (CCELD), held on Friday October 2 at the Jamaica Pegasus in New Kingston, according to the Jamaican Observer newspaper.
Anne kicked off her royal duties on September 30 when she took a tour of the Mico College University, followed by a visit to the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) headquarters at Up Park Camp, and the RJR Communications Group.
The Princess Royal also visited the Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen, and took part in the Duke of Edinburgh Medal Awards, where she enjoyed traditional folk songs.
Meanwhile, Princess Anne returned to the UK over the weekend after she departed the Norman Manley International Airport shortly after the CCELD event.
