Britain’s Duke of Cornwall has bought a B&Q store in Milton Keynes for a reported £35 million.
The 66-year-old royal and his wife Duchess Camilla snapped up the DIY shop in Buckinghamshire, South East England, last month.
A statement on the Duchy of Cornwall website reads: "The Duchy of Cornwall is pleased to announce the acquisition of a new property in Milton Keynes.
"The purchase of a 117, 000 square foot store, situated on Patriot Drive in Rooksley, was completed on Thursday 13th August 2015."
It’s thought the Prince will rent the store to the home improvement company in Rooksley shopping centre for an estimated £2.2 million a year.
The DIY shop is set to rake in more funding for Prince Charles – also known as the Prince of Wales – as part of his Duchy of Cornwall, which was set up by Edward III in 1337.
Other estates bought by the Duchy, which extends across 23 countries, are said to include a Holiday Inn, Dartmoor Prison and the Oval cricket ground in Lambeth, London.
