Eva Mendes has sparked rumours she’s engaged to Ryan Gosling.
The 41-year-old actress, who has 10-month-old daughter Esmeralda with the ‘Drive’ star, 34, has fuelled speculation they are planning to get married after showing off a new emerald ring on Instagram.
The brunette beauty has appeared in several photographs wearing the statement piece of jewellery since July 25, and also wore it to an Estee Lauder event in Miami, Florida on Tuesday (25.08.15).
While it is currently on her right ring finger, she could wearing it on the wrong hand in order to fool her fans, according to the MailOnline.
The couple, who started dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of ‘The Place Beyond the Pines,’ have yet to comment on their relationship status.
But Eva previously admitted she thinks marriage is "very unsexy."
The ‘Hitch’ star said: "I’m not like anti-marriage or the institution, like for other people. And I love the idea of a union — that’s all very beautiful. But I think, you know, it’s a very old fashioned, archaic kind of thing. We did it for land originally. How unromantic is that?
"I actually think it’s really sexy to be with someone in your fifties and sixties and be like, ‘That’s my boyfriend. I think husband and wife is just… very unsexy.
"If you love someone and you have a spiritual union, I just personally don’t think [I need] a piece of paper because society tells me [is necessary]."
