Former ‘Apprentice’ star Stuart Baggs will be laid to rest today (21.08.15).
The funeral for the 27-year-old entrepreneur – who passed away from an asthma attack in Douglas, Isle of Man last month – will take place at St Ninian’s Church, with family and friends being asked to dress in blue.
A statement on the Facebook page ‘In memory of Stuart Baggs – Wear Blue For Stu’ read: "We have been overwhelmed by the amount of love and support we have received from you all.
"We would like to invite anyone who wishes to attend the funeral of Stuart to be held at St Ninians Church, Douglas, IOM at 2pm on Friday 21st August.
"We would kindly request everyone to wear blue – dark, light, bright, jewel, any shade will do … As a family we would like to say thank you to everyone for your kind words and thoughts at this tremendously difficult time. (sic)"
The cause of death was confirmed earlier this month in a statement, which read: "Mr Baggs had suffered from asthma for many years and died as a result of his condition.
"It is clear that this is a tragic and premature loss of such a hardworking and visionary young man. We extend our thoughts to the family at this sad time."
