Kelly Brook to star in Baywatch movie?

Kelly Brook is "one of the shortlisters" to play Pamela Anderson in the ‘Baywatch’ film.

The 35-year-old model and actress is reportedly in the running to scoop the starring role as a lifeguard in the upcoming movie, in which she would star alongside Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Zac Efron, who have already confirmed their involvement.

A source revealed: "Kelly is one of the shortlisters. It is no surprise.

"She has an almost identical body to a young Pam, looks sensational in a bikini and is a strong actress."

Although the ‘One Big Happy’ star has the perfect body for the role, the busty babe would be forced to dye her brunette locks to mimic Pamela’s blonde trusses in the original TV series.

The source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Obviously, she would have to go blonde."

Other famous faces said to be in the running for the role include younger models Kate Upton, 23 and Charlotte McKinney, 22, and ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Sophie Turner, 19.

However, it looks unlikely Pamela herself will return even for a cameo appearance in the movie, as she doesn’t think the film will have many fans.

Asked about it, she said: "No one appreciates the remakes."

But ‘We Are Your Friends’ hunk Zac has insisted he can’t wait to get started on the film, which Dwayne has promised will be "big, fun and rated R".

He told BANG Showbiz: "I’m pretty stoked, yeah. I’m very, very excited."
