Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has lighted candles put into her ears before going on ‘The X Factor’.
The 32-year-old judge has been having a treatment called ear candling, which she has when she feels "tired" after long days of filming the ITV reality show.
A source said: "A friend recommended ear candling, saying it would help her relax. Cheryl has also been having vitamin B injections to help when she’s tired."
‘The X Factor’ boss Simon Cowell is also believed to be a fan of the therapy, made popular by Native Americans, and now, new judge, BBC Radio 1, Nick Grimshaw is interested in the trying it out – after Cheryl recommended it to him – as he is "knackered all the time".
The source told The Sun newspaper: "She was telling Nick Grimshaw how good they are. Now he’s considering them because he’s knackered all the time."
The ‘I Don’t Care’ hitmaker "really likes" the treatment, which she apparently has backstage while relaxing before going on camera.
The source added: "She’s been doing it backstage at the show, and seems to really it."
