Britain’s Prince of Wales found trying to build a wall "difficult".
The 66-year-old heir to the throne – who is a patron of the Dry Stone Walling Association – visited an 18th-century prison in the Cotswolds yesterday (28.07.15) where he attempted to build a dry wall.
Prince Charles had said "no" when first asked if he would like to demonstrate how to put together the wall made from a yellow Cotswolds stone.
However, after much determination not to get involved, he gave it a go but found it hard work.
He told a demonstrator: "It’s difficult, I don’t know what is, I can never make it fit."
After his visit to the prison, Charles attended the grand opening of Gloucester Services on the M5 motorway, which has it’s own farm shop selling local produce, including the Prince’s Countryside Fund sandwich.
Every time someone buys one of the sandwiches, 10 pence goes to the fund.
The CEO of the service station, Sarah Dunning told Express.co.uk: "It’s been a tremendous honour to have the HRH the Prince of Wales officially open Gloucester Services. We share a mutual love and respect for the countryside."
