Robbie Williams serenades Prince Albert II of Monaco

Prince Albert II of Monaco was serenaded by Robbie Williams to celebrate a decade on the throne.

The 57-year-old monarch proved himself to be a huge fan of the former Take That star on Sunday night (12.07.15) when he danced and sang along to a greatest hits set from the 41-year-old musician as part of celebrations marking his royal milestone.

The Stoke-born singer belted out well-known singles including ‘Rock DJ’ and ‘Let Me Entertain You’ at the Monaco Palace bash, at which Prince Albert was accompanied by his wife Princess Charlene, 37, who he married in 2011.

The couple danced along to the tunes during the show, with Albert having posted lyrics to Robbie’s song ‘Angels’ on Twitter earlier in the day saying he was warming up for the headline performance.

Robbie – who released his 10th studio album of original material ‘Swings Both Ways’ in 2013 – also seemed to have a good time, describing the evening as "magical" in a post of his own.

He wrote on Twitter: "Congratulations Prince Albert & Princess Charlene: thank you for having us, what a magical evening @GrimaldiPrince (sic)."

And having showed off his dance moves throughout the evening, Prince Albert confirmed he’d also enjoyed the anniversary event, retweeting Robbie’s message and writing, "Wonderful Night. (sic)".
