David Zowie plans chart party

David Zowie will celebrate with a pool party if he tops the UK singles charts.

The 34-year-old musician is on course to reach number one in the single charts tomorrow (10.07.15) with his hit track ‘House Every Weekend’ and will be celebrating the feat by throwing a huge bash.

Asked what he’ll do if he tops the charts, he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Well there’s a possibility of a pool party this weekend, but it depends what the weather is. But hopefully I’ll be splashing around celebrating. I want to bathe in champagne.

"My phone’s just been ringing off the hook so everything’s so exciting right now. It’s crazy."

While the DJ faces tough competition from other acts in the chart – which will be announced on Friday (10.07.15) for the first time as part of a global shift to have Fridays as the synchronised music release day – he is confident in his music and is already working on a follow-up track.

Questioned about whether he feels a lot of pressure to release another hit to live up to the club tune, he said: "Not really, because it’s been so organic. It’s just come out of nowhere so I feel comfortable. But the idea is to hit another club banger in a similar vein. I’m confident, I’ve got a couple in the pipeline so it’s just about choosing the right one to keep the momentum going."
