Peter Jones would "love" to be on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 49-year-old businessman "admires" his ‘Dragon’s Den’ co-panellist Deborah Meaden for her turn on the show and admits the only thing that has stopped him taking part so far is time.
He said: "I would love to do ‘Strictly’ but it’s a question of time. They ask every year.
"I admire Deborah for doing it, it’s a big challenge and takes so much of your life away. And she was great in it."
Peter previously took part in a one-off special with former ‘Dragon’ Duncan Bannatyne.
He told Heat magazine: "I have done it. It was a one-off at the O2 for Sport Relief and I competed against Duncan Bannatyne in front of 10,000 people. I won."
The entrepreneurs are used to passers-by stopping them in the streets to pitch their business ideas, and admitted even famous faces can’t resist suggesting investment opportunities.
Deborah said: "I won’t name names but yes, quite a lot [of celebrities have pitched us].
"A lot of TV people, comedians and so on aren’t necessarily business people but ‘business’ is something they really want to get into."
