Jasmin Walia to star in ‘Desi Rascals’

Jasmin Walia and her boyfriend Ross Worswick are set to star in ‘Desi Rascals’.

The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star will appear in the second series of Sky 1’s real-life drama, which follows the fun and eventful lives of some of the British-Asian community’s stars, alongside former ‘The Apprentice’ contestant Solomon Akhtar and ‘Take Me Out’s Fahra Rai.

The 25-year-old television personality said: "I’m really excited to be joining ‘Desi Rascals’. Since leaving the cast of ‘TOWIE’ I have been very fortunate to receive numerous offers of work, and this is the opportunity I’ve been looking for that will allow me to explore my cultural roots whilst still maintaining all the glitz and glamour that I love.

"I’m having such an amazing time with Ross at the moment, and this next chapter promises to be even better, full of surprises and magical moments that I’m sure viewers will also enjoy sharing with us. Watch this space!"

Whilst Solomon, 24, is looking forward to meeting new girls.

He said: "When it comes to girls I’m like a kid in a candy store and I can’t decide which candy I want to eat!

"If I like someone, I’m going to do whatever it takes and if there’s a guy in the way, it’s just a guy in the way. It’s not going to be too much trouble."
