Britain’s Prince William reunited with his old Eton school friend Eddie Redmayne on Friday (03.07.15).
The 33-year-old royal and the Oscar-winning actor were both in attendance at the Audi Polo Challenge, where the prince was competing and helping to raise some much-needed funds.
Following the conclusion of the polo match, the prince headed over towards Eddie – who won an Oscar earlier this year for his starring role in ‘The Theory of Everything’ – and struck up conversation with him and his new wife Hannah Bagshawe.
Both men have, of course, celebrated major milestones in recent months, with Prince William welcoming his second child, Princess Charlotte, in May.
Eddie, meanwhile, has emerged as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after young actors following his brilliant portrayal of Professor Stephen Hawking and was recently named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
Eddie has previously described Prince William as a "lovely man".
He said: "I’m pretty sure Will was more intimidating than I was.
"I don’t think I intimidated anyone in my life. I haven’t seen him since school, but he was a lovely man."
