Gemma Collins wants to be "the UK’s next Oprah".
The 34-year-old reality star is reportedly not upset about her recent suspension from ‘The Only Way is Essex’ as she is ready to move on to bigger and better things and wants to be Britain’s answer to US talk show host Oprah Winfrey.
A source said: "She’s told friends she’s ready to quit for good. She wants to work on other ventures. She’d love to get a talk show and thinks she could be the UK’s next Oprah."
Gemma was reportedly suspended as she was unhappy at being portrayed a "diva and difficult" and always the subject of confrontational storylines, so she is now keen to get away from the "tense atmosphere" on the show.
The source added: "Gemma feels everyone is against her. She just wants a fresh start away from the tense atmosphere of the show."
And while she isn’t tied to ‘TOWIE’, Gemma is keen to focus on herself.
The source added to Closer magazine: "Gemma feels upset that she’s still single and is desperate to settle down and start a family, but says the guys she’s meeting aren’t right.
"She’s also struggling to stick to her diet and exercise regime – she wants to be a size 16 for the summer but she’s still an 18.
"She’s hoping with more time on her hands she can focus on overhauling her body and finding the man of her dreams."
