Adam Lambert: It’d be fun if Queen headline Glastonbury

Adam Lambert would love to see Queen headline Glastonbury.

The 33-year-old singer has collaborated with the iconic British band, which features Brian May and Roger Taylor, since last year and has echoed Brian’s view that they’d relish the opportunity to play at the festival.

Speaking last night (12.06.15) at the One For The Boys Fashion Ball at London’s Roundhouse in Camden, Adam told BANG Showbiz: "That would be fun. I heard that too, that would be fun!"

Adam is scheduled to appear alongside the duo for a series of gigs later this year and suggested he’d like to continue collaborating with Queen into the future.

He shared: "We’re doing a bunch of shows in South America in September.

"So far that’s all that’s on the books but that doesn’t mean that we’re done."

Last month, Brian May admitted Queen would be interested in headlining Glastonbury in the future – but only if Adam was available to perform alongside them.

He said: "It would be interesting to do Glastonbury if we were an operational unit at the time.

"You see this year Adam’s off doing his solo work at the moment so it wouldn’t have worked. You only look at things that are possible logistically at the time."

Other celebrities in attendance at the One For The Boys Fashion Ball included Stanley Tucci, Lewis Hamilton and Alice Cooper, all of whom helped raise awareness and funds educating men on the many cancers affecting them today.
