Olly Murs lost a stone after hitting the gym in preparation for co-hosting ‘The X Factor’.
The 31-year-old singer – who was recently announced as the new presenter of the ITV talent show alongside ‘Love Island’ host Caroline Flack – has admitted he wanted to "get fit" ahead of starting his new job.
The ‘Dear Darlin” hitmaker said: "I have been going to the gym, eating well and I just wanted to get fit."
The singer also tipped Rita Ora and radio DJ Nick Grimshaw as his favourites to join the judging panel of the ‘The X Factor’, admitting it would be "a great coup" following Rita’s stint on the BBC programme ‘The Voice’.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "Rita has done her judging on ‘The Voice’ so it would be a great coup to get her.
"Obviously she has got her own personality, she is fun and I think her and Grimmy as the supposed next two would be great."
Despite adhering to a strict fitness regime to prepare for his new on-screen role, Olly took a night off on Saturday (06.06.15), when he was spotted partying with 21-year-old One Direction singer Niall Horan at London’s Mahiki nightclub.
