Britain’s Princess Charlotte will be christened in Norfolk on July 5.
The one-month-old royal – who was welcomed by her parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge last month – will be baptised at the St Mary Magdalene Church by Justin Welby, The Archbishop of Canterbury.
Kensington Palace confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to announce the christening of Princess Charlotte will take place on Sunday 5th July (1/2)
"Princess Charlotte will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury @JustinWelby at St Mary Magdalene Church in #Sandringham (2/2)"
The church is located close to the Queen’s Sandringham Estate and the couple’s home Anmer Hall.
The Princess – whose full name is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge – was born on May 2 weighing 8lbs 3oz at St Mary’s Hospital in London.
Following the birth, the Duchess, 33 and her husband Prince William, 32, travelled to their Norfolk property with their 22-month-old son George to spend time together as a new family of four.
