Muse to headline Lollapalooza Berlin

Muse will headline Lollapalooza Berlin.

The British alternative rockers – fronted by Matt Bellamy – are the final band to have been added to this year’s festival, which takes place from 12 – 15 September.

The ‘Supermassive Black Hole’ hitmakers have played the festival – which takes place at what used to be, Tempelhof, Airport – several times before and will return to play a set, including songs from their latest LP ‘Drones’.

The collection is the band’s first since 2012’s ‘The 2nd Law’, and he recently revealed he believes it’s their best album so far, admitting, "That’s not something I’ve been able to say for a while."

Their performance is noted as the only chance for German fans to see the Grammy Award winning band this year.

The premium European music event, completes its line-up with the final additions of former Jane’s Addiction frontman, Perry Farrell, who will DJ at the festival, and house music gods The 2 Bears.

Hot Chip and Joywave – who recently supported Brandon Flowers – were also included in the final line-up.

Previously announced headliners, include The Libertines and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis alongside the likes of Chvrches, Bastille, Fatboy Slim and Stereophonics.
