Adele Silva has joined the cast of ‘Hollyoaks’.
The 34-year-old soap star – who played Kelly Windsor in ‘Emmerdale’ – has revealed she is "looking forward" to heading back to work with a new role in the soap after having her three-month-old daughter, Sienna Evie.
A TV spokesperson told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Adele can’t wait to join the soap. At the moment, she is enjoying her time at home with Sienna but is looking forward to being back on screen later in the year."
Despite her role only being a guest stint, she is set to stir up things for the show’s Blake family as their dark past unfolds.
This is the second big soap star to join the ‘Hollyoaks’ cast in recent months, as Zoe Lucker was introduced as Reenie McQueen in January.
Adele starred in ITV’s ‘Emmerdale’ from 1993 to 2000 and came back in 2005, with her last episode in 2011.
During her time away from TV, the actress had three traumatic miscarriages before having baby Sienna with fiancé Oliver Farber, who she has since been "enjoying" precious time at home with.
