Charlie Sims "still loves" Ferne McCann.
The 23-year-old reality star dumped his ‘Only Way is Essex’ co-star on Twitter in March but now admits he wishes they were still together.
He said: "She will always hold the key to my heart, no matter how far apart we are or what we are doing or how long I haven’t seen her for.
"It just takes one split second to realise how much I love her, even still."
However, while he still has feelings for 23-year-old Ferne, Charlie doesn’t think they’ll be in a rush to get back together any time soon.
He added to Star magazine: "I don’t think we’ll be together as a couple any time soon but we both hope in the future we will rekindle our relationship.
"Right now, it’s the right time for us to be apart. I’m looking forward to the future, I’m not into dating anyone else."
Despite Charlie recently taking to Twitter to declare how much he has "missed" Ferne, his former lover is enjoying the single life.
She said: "Single life is good I’m having fun and living my life as I normally would."
