Prince Charles donated to Scientology?

Britain’s Prince Charles has given money to the Church of Scientology, the organisation have claimed.

The sci-fi cult’s prisoner programme, Criminon – which runs rehabilitation courses for offenders throughout the world – claims the 66-year-old prince has made at least one donation in the last two years.

A posting on their website from November 2013 claims: "We’re pleased to announce that we have received a further donation from His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall."

Criminon is run by Greg Capazorio, who is married to Tom Cruise’s sister Cass, and he and his spouse live with the ‘Mission: Impossible’ actor, who is a prominent member of the church.

Criminon has previously claimed to have a branch in "every prison" in the UK – but government officials insist only three people in the whole prison system are Scientologists.

They have said of their scheme: "Criminon UK provides crime prevention and rehabilitation programs to people in need.

"It also delivers drug rehabilitation programmes to offenders. It is a registered charity and the programs are available to anyone regardless of race, religion, sex, age, disability or offence committed.

"Criminon organisations worldwide provide the program using courses that address some of the key factors that are known to cause criminality; such as lack of self respect, illiteracy and a lack of moral values."
