Lydia Bright insists she and James ‘Arg’ Argent are a "mature couple".
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star reunited with her childhood sweetheart earlier this year and claims they’re now much more mature because they make hot drinks for one another in the morning.
Asked if she was nervous about arguing with Arg during filming for the Marbella special of the ITVBe show, Lydia exclusively told BANG Showbiz at the British Academy Television Awards at London’s Theatre Royal: "Oh no, we’re a very mature couple now, those things don’t happen."
However, Lydia’s pal and co-star Ferne McCann seemed unconvinced by her claim and asked what made her think that.
The 25-year-old beauty replied: "We are! When you talk about politics that’s when you’re mature. No, I think you become a mature couple when your boyfriend makes you tea in the morning, I think that shows that you’re really grown up.
"Yes, when you start drinking tea and coffee in the morning that’s it, you’re grown up and he does, he makes me tea in the morning."
