Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II will feature on two new stamps.
The 88-year-old monarch’s image will appear on the Australian 70 cent and $2.75 stamps in celebration of her 89th birthday on April 21.
The 70 cent design features a photo of the royal during her visit to the Ebony Horse Club and Community Riding Centre in Brixton, London, in October 2013, while the 2.75 stamp shows her meeting the Irish President Michael Higgins at Windsor Castle in April 2014, reports MailOnline.
The marking of the Queen’s birthday by issuing new stamps has been a tradition in Australia since 1980.
Meanwhile, the Queen’s 89th birthday is thought to be set to coincide with the birth of her latest great grandchild.
Her granddaughter-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge – who already has a 21-month-old son with her husband Prince William – recently confessed the couple’s new addition is due "mid-to-end of April".
The birth of the royal baby will also be commemorated with the release of a new £5 coin, to be launched shortly after the tot is born.
