Lydia Bright wants to compete on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’

The ‘Only Way is Essex’ regular revealed she is eager to appear on the annual ITV reality show based in Australia and believes she would surprise viewers with her attitude towards the infamously vile Bush Tucker trials as she is always up for getting her hands dirty.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I think I would do it, but you never know until you’re in that situation how you’d react to it.

"I think that sometimes people think that I am very glamorous and stuff but I do think that I can get my hands stuck in."

The 25-year-old star – whose former co-stars Joey Essex, Mark Wright and Gemma Collins have previously featured on the show – added that although she wouldn’t be keen to eat kangaroo genitals, a common task on the programme, she doesn’t think she’d have a problem with the basic meals as she is a big fan of rice.

Speaking after the live launch of the Use Your Voice campaign, created to raise awareness and empower young people to vote in the General Election, she added: "The thing is, I love rice and beans so I would be fine. I love rice and beans, rice and peas, lentils."
