Skepta and JME added to The Great Escape line-up

Skepta and JME have been added to The Great Escape line-up.

The Boy Better Know rappers – who recently joined forces with Kanye West to perform his new track ‘All Day’ at the BRITs – will take to the stage at the Brighton Dome Concert Hall, the festival’s biggest stage, on Saturday May 16.

The Cribs, Gaz Coombes, Afrikan Boy, Hyena, Tropics, Hollysiz and Lion Babe are also among the acts added to the line-up of the annual festival, which is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary this year.

The Great Escape will be paying particular focus to the vibrant music scenes of the United Kingdom and will see a collection of over 60 emerging artists join the bill with the support of the National Lottery through the Arts Council England, UK Music and UK Trade & Investment.

Up-and-coming acts chosen to perform include Baby Queens, English Heretic, Fickle Friends, Billy Ryder Jones, Akcadamy, Liberton Wolf, Landshapes, Whilk and Misky, Rory Indiana and Allusondrugs.

Meanwhile, a number of artists had already been confirmed for the three day festival – which will take place at 30 different venues across the city of Brighton – earlier this year.

They include Kate Tempest, Alabama Shakes, Django Django, Ibeyi, Genghar, Dutch Uncles, George the Poet, Stromzy, Swim Deep and Mumdance & Novelist.
