5 Seconds of Summer’s Ashton Irwin thinks Taylor Swift seems "destructive".
The 21-year-old rocker has admitted he isn’t keen on dating the ‘Bad Blood’ singer as he believes she would be a bad influence.
He said: "[Taylor] feels a little destructive to me. I think it’s interesting, I think it’s cool – she’s a deep thinker."
The ‘She’s Kinda Hot’ hitmaker explained his comments by saying her poor history with relationships and habit of subsequently writing songs about them would likely mean some great songs would be created if they dated.
He said: "She has a lot of songs about some messed up relationships. I think some good songs would come out of it."
Taylor, 25, has been seeing Scottish DJ Calvin Harris for almost 10 months but has previously dated stars including Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer and Harry Styles.
But that didn’t stop Ashton’s bandmate Michael Clifford flirting with her at a party earlier this year.
During an interview with Howard Stern, he confessed he tried to hit on her while "drunk" but was unsuccessful.
The band recently released their second studio album ‘Sounds Good Feels Good’ which has topped the charts in 10 countries including the UK, US and Australia.
