50 Cent loved eating cookies and cake while watching Jake Gyllenhaal go through intense training for ‘Southpaw’.
The rapper stars alongside the actor in boxing movie ‘Southpaw’ and enjoyed having the "luxury" of having to gain weight while Jake slimmed down.
He said: "I enjoyed myself on the set. Jake did a great job, he really slimmed himself down. People say that they can’t get rid of five pounds for the summer, you know what I’m saying?
"I had to put on weight for my role. I had the luxury of cookies. I enjoyed myself. While he was going through intense training, I was having cookies and cake and s**t."
The 40-year-old rapper was previously approached to star in a movie with Eminem and couldn’t believe his friend turned down a huge pay deal for what seemed like an easy job.
He told Q magazine: "I remember I flew from LA to Detroit to talk to Em about a movie. It was a film where we were supposed to be playing two guys from different sides of the tracks. I’m like the head of this gang in Detroit and he’s the head of another gang.
"His thing was he didn’t like to leave Detroit, he didn’t tour as often as he could because he didn’t want to come back from tour and have Hailie [his daughter] be grown, you know? So I said, ‘Hey, they want to give you eight million dollars to do it and we don’t have to leave Detroit so you can go home every night.’
"He read the synopsis and was like, ‘It’s cool, but we should do something like ‘The Warriors’. I said, ”The Warriors’? What the f**k? Did you just hear me say they want to give you eight million dollars and you don’t have to leave Detroit? He didn’t give a f**k."
