Zayn Malik wants to work with Chris Brown, Usher and Justin Timberlake

Zayn Malik wants to collaborate with Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake and Usher.

The ‘Pillowtalk’ hitmaker is a huge fan of the three "massive icons" and would love the chance to get into the studio with them at some point.

Discussing the trio of pop legends, he said: "I’d love to work with all of them at some point. They’re all obviously massive icons in their own right and obviously to be on the same label as them is crazy, so if the opportunity arises, I’m not going to turn any of them names down."

Since he left One Direction, Zayn has been able to take full control of his career and so can pursue any artist he wants to work with,

The 23-year-old singer also accepts he can no longer complain about things he’s not happy with regarding his music because he has "full responsibility" for his songs.

Speaking to radio station KISS FM, he said: "I’m in control of things now, so I can’t really complain. And if I do complain, or if I do have something to say, people will just turn around and say, well, you decided to do it this way, so it’s your fault. Which I kind of like, being the person who takes responsibility and having my neck on the line. Because when we do well then I take the reward for it, as well."

Zayn’s debut solo LP, ‘Mind of Mine’, comes out on March 25, and lead single ‘Pillowtalk’ is already a global smash having reached number one on the iTunes chart in 60 countries.
