Zach Galifianakis and Seth Rogen to star in The Something


Zach Galifianakis, Seth Rogen and Bill Hader will star in ‘The Something’.

Galifianakis, 46, will be joined by fellow funnymen Rogen, 33, and Hader, 37, for the comedy which will be set in space.

The story revolves around a trio of astronauts who are travelling in through the stars when they happen to come upon another ship, after being stuck in space for a number of years.

‘The Something’ will be directed by ’22 Jump Street’ writer Rodney Rothman, who is making his directorial debut, and Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures – which made his 2015 satire ‘The Interview’ – have teamed up with Good Universe to produce the film.

Galifianakis was last seen in Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s Oscar-winning film ‘Birdman’ opposite Michael Keaton and will be seen playing aspiring clown Chip Baskets in FX comedy ‘Baskets’ alongside Louis C.K. and Jonathan Krisel,.

Hader starred alongside Amy Phoeler in 2015 comedy ‘Trainwreck’ and he and Rogen have previously appeared in together in ‘Pineapple Express’, ‘Knocked Up’ and ‘Superbad’.
