Thomas Atkinson mugged at knife point

Thomas Atkinson was mugged at knife point in Paris.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actor – who plays serial killer Lachlan White in the ITV soap – took to Instagram to reveal his phone had been stolen in the attack, and jokingly "thanked" the French capital city for making him feel "welcome".
Captioning a picture of the Eiffel Tower, he wrote: "Last shot before I had a knife pulled on me and phone stolen. Thank you, Paris. Nice to know I was welcome (sic)"
Several fans took to the photo-sharing site to ask if he was OK, and the 19-year-old star admitted he was "fine", and insisted he found the ordeal "quite amusing".
He wrote: "For anyone asking, Im fine. found it quite amusing tbh. Being stuck in a foreign country with no phone was an experience to say the least. (sic)"
The incident comes just days after Thomas revealed he was set upon by an OAP who smacked his bum in a shopping centre because of his alter-ego’s cruel crimes.
He said: "It’s normally old women calling me a ‘naughty boy.’ I had an old woman smack my bum in the Trafford Centre, which was really weird.
"But it was great – I loved it."
Lachlan has already bumped off four ‘Emmerdale’ characters, and Thomas dropped a huge hint that his alter-ego’s reign of terror is not over just yet.
When asked if he is prepared to kill again to keep hold of significant other Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), he said: "Maybe … I don’t know.
"He’s already killed four people.
"He’s not thinking of that [getting found out], he’s done well until now. He’s scared, but he’s not thinking about whether he’s going to get caught."
