Rylan Clark-Neal quits This Morning

Rylan Clark-Neal is taking a break from ‘This Morning’ next year.
The 29-year-old presenter – who usually dishes out the showbiz gossip on the programme throughout the week – has announced that he’s planning to take a "break" from the brunch time show at the beginning of 2018 – but he’s adamant he’ll be back.
Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on today’s episode, he said: "I’ve not really said anything but after Christmas, next Friday, I’m going to be going away for a little bit. It’s definitely not goodbye but I’m going to be taking a little bit of a break new year. But I just want to say thank you because it’s been lovely and I will be back."
Rylan didn’t go into detail about why he was leaving but Holly, 36, was clearly upset to see him leave and compared it to a mother waving goodbye to her child at an aiport.
She said: "I feel like you’re our child who is going off travelling to explore new things."
Fans immediately took to their social networking sites to vent their frustrations.
One viewer – who goes by the name Rory Mackay – said: "We will miss you Rylan.
"You make This Morning extra special.
"Keep doing what you’re doing..you’re ace! Going to enjoy watching you with your telly Mum and Dad next week. Have a fantastic Christmas when it comes."
Another called Tina Whitehead wrote: "Rylan im absolutely gutted. Your my fav. Dont be away for to long. Enjoy your break."
While, Caroline Stevens added: "So going to miss you but hope your next venture will be as successful and that we will still be able to see you on our screens x (sic)"
However, fans will still get to see Rylan as it’s been confirmed he’ll host ‘Celebrity Big Brother’s spin-off show ‘Bit on the Side’ when it returns at the beginning of January.
