Rachel Weisz will keep her BAFTA ‘somewhere private’

Rachel Weisz plans to keep her BAFTA "somewhere private".
The 48-year-old star won the Best Actress in a Supporting Role gong at the awards ceremony at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Sunday night (10.02.19), and Rachel has revealed she has special plans for her accolade.
Rachel – who won the award for her performance in ‘The Favourite’ – admitted: "I’m very proud, but I don’t think I’ll put it on the shelf – I think I’ll put it somewhere private. I have a study, I’ll put it in my study."
Rachel stars alongside Olivia Colman and Emma Stone in the Yorgos Lanthimos-directed drama.
And the London-born actress – who is married to fellow Hollywood star Daniel Craig – feels lucky to have worked with such talented performers.
She told HELLO!: "I think it’s fair to say that each one of us relied on the other two – I think it was a true ensemble and they definitely made me better."
Meanwhile, Rachel previously admitted to being proud of ‘The Favourite’ because of its "complex" portrayals of women.
Speaking about the movie – which explores the relationship of two cousins vying to be court favourites of Queen Anne – she said: "The thing we’ve heard a lot from people is how surprising it is that there’s a film where there are three women who are complicated, layered, powerful and not likeable.
"And it surprised me, sadly, that there have been very few films in the last decade that have not one or two but three very complex female roles."
